As the lodge is just 3 km from the beautifully preserved, historic university town of Stellenbosch, it is ideally located for exploring what is one of South Africas oldest communities. Many of the original buildings have been faithfully restored, giving visitors a glimpse of life in the town 200 and even 300 years ago. The beach is about 20 km away. There are plenty of shops on Stellenbosch Square, which is about a 3-minute drive away. Cape Town International Airport is about 35 km away. The rooms enjoy breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch Mountains and are surrounded by 120 hectares of vineyards.
