Our hotel is located on the outskirts of the city of Simmern, the center of the Hunsrück, surrounded by fields and forests of the tart, beautiful Hunsrück landscape. We are 500 m away from the city center. Enjoy our secluded location away from the main streets. Natural hiking trails invite you to take walks, adventure hikers will find all facets of premium hiking on the dream loops of the Saar-Hunsrück climb (cathedral view directly from our front door) and the Soonwaldsteig. A well-signposted cycle path and walking network as well as various active cycle routes (including directly at the house of the Schinderhannes cycle path Simmern-Emmelshausen) leave nothing to be desired for the demanding cyclist. The proximity of the river landscapes of the Rhine, Moselle and Nahe complement the special recreational value of our region by offering their cultural landscape. The cities, Trier, Koblenz, Kreuznach and Mainz offer varied cultural and shopping opportunities.
